“Our goal is to produce well-rounded students that will contribute to this global society, whether it is through language or knowledge about the cultures around them,” said JNI Rodriguez. “Our staff is eager to welcome new families to our JNI community and to introduce students to our immersion approach.”

Founded in 2007 with 20 children, JNI’s expansion will educate more than 250 students throughout its three locations. In time, the new campus will run as the other two locations incorporating cultural-minded lessons based on other cultures’ norms, foods and traditions; musical education with guitar lessons offered onsite and a new theater class scheduled for Fall 2012.

About Jardín de Niños Founded by Adriana Rodriguez in 2007, Jardín De Niños Interlingua (JNI) is a Spanish immersion school for children three months through fifth grade with three locations in Austin. JNI utilizes a Spanish language program in which the children are immersed in Spanish while participating in educational activities. Once a child reaches the age of 4, French and Mandarin are also introduced once a week.
