My Yacht™ F1 Club Brings Monaco Grand Prix Glamour To Austin With VIP Nightclub During Formula One™

Three-time Olympian Delivers International Flair To Texas (AUSTIN, TEXAS – October 23, 2012) My Yacht™ Group, an international luxury events producer, will bring an upscale, European-style nightclub to Austin, Texas during the 2012 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ race weekend, November 16-18. With attention to every detail, from the Lamborghinis lined up at the entrance to gold-flecked champagne presented and poured by “Golden Girls,” the exclusive My Yacht™ F1 Club three-night affair promises to offer an experience rare to Austin. The celebrity-studded glamorous nightlife experience for visiting race goers and residents alike will take place at the Ballet Austin complex.

Headed by My Yacht Group CEO, 3-time Olympian (driver of the Hungarian bobsled team in ’94, ’98, ‘02) and international entrepreneur, Nicholas Frankl, My Yacht Group has successfully hosted elite events in Monaco, Miami, Cannes, Abu Dhabi and London. “From working in and around F1 for more than 20 years, especially in Monaco, where we have hosted royalty, drivers, models, celebrities and more at our super yacht events, we know how this distinctive group of people likes to be entertained. And we’re creating that unique experience – albeit not on a yacht - here in Austin,” says Frankl. “Austin is a vibrant city, but I don’t think they’ve ever seen anything like the F1 circus roll through town before, so we’re proud to support the community and be a part of its inaugural Grand Prix.”

Local Charity, Famous Faces and Luxury Brand Partners A VIP cocktail reception benefitting local non-profit, I Live Here, I Give Here, from 7:30-9:30pm on Friday evening will kick-off the weekend’s proceedings in style. From 9.30pm until 2am Friday through Sunday, the club will offer VIP tables with bottle service and premium beverages with “Golden Girl” hostesses looking after the VIP guests, while top international singer / songwriter and DJ Alex Karlsson will keep the dance floor full playing an eclectic mix of house and club music. Expected celebrities in attendance include actor Matthew McConaughey, actor Rick Yune (“The Fast and the Furious”), director Ron Howard with cast members from his upcoming F1 film “Rush,” and several F1 and INDY Car TM drivers.

Three table levels will be available: V12, V10 and V8. Each accommodates eight guests and includes all premium beverages, including champagne, all night. Bespoke spaces can be created to accommodate larger parties and a select number of individual passes are available each night. Sleek, modern furnishings, custom lighting and state-of-the-art sound systems will ensure a world-class club experience.

Luxury brand partnerships for the weekend include Lamborghini, showcasing its range of 2013 models. Comte de Mazeray will make its USA debut serving a 24-karat gold-flecked champagne starting at $500 on the V8 tables and running to $10,000 for jeroboam bottles served at the V12 tables. Patrón Spirits will provide premium Ultimat vodka, Patron tequila and Pyrat rum throughout the club. Additional luxury brand partners TBA.
